Dr Vincent Duplan, R&D Plant modelling leader
Plant Biologist, Molecular Biologist, Modeler.
Vincent is a talented junior researcher with sound expertise on deciphering the intricated molecular network that governs development and immunity in plant. He possesses a wise view on the plant reprogramming during their entire life cycle and will oversee reconstruction of ground-breaking crops models.
After a master degree in Plant-Microbe Interactions, I obtained my Ph.D in 2017 in Toulouse, France.
I worked for five years in a research laboratory. During my thesis, I studied the role of a protein of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana at the interface between plant immunity and development. This work enabled me to master the use of Molecular Biology techniques, Microscopy, but also to perform numerous experiments of Phytopathology using various pathogens.
Through the multidisciplinary nature of my research I have built a vision of the hole plant life cycle and maintained strong scientific curiosity wich is helping me reconstruct genome-scale networks of different plants.
