We’re delighted to announce the arrival of Luana Presta in our team!
With a solid background rooted in biological sciences, molecular biology, genetics, and systems biology Luana brings a unique blend of knowledge and experience to our dynamic crew.
Luana’s academic journey spans all around Europe from a graduation with a Bachelor’s in Biological Science to a PhD in Genetics Microbiology in Italy, to experience in top labs and institutions in systems biology field in UK, Sweden, and Luxembourg.
Proficient in coding and biology, Luana has delved into microbial and molecular evolution, computational biology, and systems biology. Her multidisciplinary approach and experience in building mathematical models of living organisms aligns seamlessly with iMEAN’s needs.
Having joined us in September 2023 after working as a consultant, Luana’s experience and expertise will undoubtedly set to propel our projects forward and enhancing our collaborative efforts.
