iMEAN Welcomes Miquel Moli Gonzalez as a Bioinformatics & Modelling Trainee
We’re thrilled to welcome Miquel Moli Gonzalez to our rank as a Bioinformatics & Modelling Trainee! Miquel is enrolled in the Bioinformatics, Modelling, and Statistics (BIMS) Master’s program at the University of Rouen Normandy, where he focuses on computational approaches to complex biological systems.

As part of a one-year work-study program, Miquel will be actively contributing to iMEAN’s modelling projects, with a particular focus on systems biology and large-scale model reconstruction, including applications such as whole-plant modelling.
Miquel already brings significant research experience from his Master 1 internship at UMR 1331 TOXALIM, in the Metabolism and Xenobiotics team. There, in collaboration with the Institut de Cancérologie de Montpellier, he worked on metabolic network modelling to study the role of p53 regulatory genes in cancer cell metabolism.
His trainning in cellular biology, physiology, and bioinformatics, combined with his growing expertise in modelling, makes him a valuable addition to the team. His apprenticeship directly supports iMEAN’s mission to expand predictive modelling approaches across different domains of biology.
We’re excited to see how Miquel’s contributions will help drive innovation at iMEAN while enriching his technical and professional journey.
Welcome to iMEAN, Miquel!
