iMEAN visits CBI and IPBS in Toulouse: Bridging academic excellence and predictive
On September 25th, iMEAN was invited to a seminar hosted by two leading research institutes in Toulouse: the Centre for Integrative Biology (CBI) and the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology (IPBS).
These institutes are home to internationally recognized teams working on genome dynamics, cellular architecture, molecular interactions, and host-pathogen relationships. Their contributions to fundamental biology and biomedical research are widely acknowledged across the scientific community.
During the seminar, iMEAN’s CEO Rémi Peyraud presented our approach to mechanistic modelling of biological systems, under the title:
“Modelling Biological Systems: Tools and applications to tackle complexity”

The presentation highlighted how iMEAN’s modelling technologies can help decipher complex biological behaviors — from microbial metabolism to mammalian cell regulation — and support both academic research and industrial innovation.
This visit was also an opportunity to meet with researchers and explore potential collaborations that could benefit both the scientific missions of CBI and IPBS, and the R&D roadmap of iMEAN.
We sincerely thank Jérôme Castandet and Marion Aguirrebengoa for their warm welcome and for facilitating this inspiring exchange.
