iMEAN at Microbiome en Occitanie: Predictive Modelling for Health Innovation
iMEAN was pleased to participate in Microbiome en Occitanie – Un écosystème en action, a regional event focused exclusively on microbiome applications in health, bringing together academic researchers, startups, and industrial stakeholders.
During the event, iMEAN presented how predictive modelling of host–microbiome interactions can support innovation by improving understanding, prediction, and decision-making in complex biological systems. These approaches are key to accelerating the development of microbiome-based solutions in healthcare.

The program was strongly highlighted by very inspiring keynote talks from Joël Doré and Patrice Cani, offering high-level scientific perspectives and reinforcing the importance of microbiome research in addressing major health challenges.
Hosted in a pleasant and well-adapted venue, Domaine Montplaisir at Narbonne, France, the event created ideal conditions for discussion and efficient organization. It also showcased how academic research and companies in Occitanie are highly active and positioned at the cutting edge of microbiome technologies.
iMEAN warmly thanks AD’OCC, the organizing team, and the scientific committee for the quality of the event and the clarity of its scientific vision.
