iMEAN Attends EUROGERM's Bio-Fermentation Plant
iMEAN was honored to attend the inauguration of EUROGERM’s new bio-fermentation plant at the Écoparc Dijon-Bourgogne. This milestone marks a strategic turning point in EUROGERM’s Bio-Fermentation Programme as they evolve into creators and producers of innovative ingredients derived from bio-fermentation.
The 4,000m² facility, part of a €21 million investment supported by €1.8 million from France Relance, is located on a 13,000m² site. With an initial production capacity of 400 tonnes annually, the plant aims to reach 1,000 tonnes per year. The first stage of production in 2024 will focus on 100% French CRC® sourdoughs, made from sustainably grown French cereals, promoting biodiversity.
