iMEAN continues charting the future of biomodelling
As we step into the new year, all of us at iMEAN would like to extend our warmest wishes for a joyous and prosperous 2025 to all our partners, collaborators, and community.
The past year, 2024, brought remarkable achievements, driven by the dedication of our team and the trust of our clients. Milestones such as :
- advancing our proprietary platform technologies. Our database, Gaïa, has overpassed recently the 2M genes integrated into our models;
- fostering strategic collaborations. We’ve surpassed 100 modelling projects conducted for our customers.
- expanding our talent pool have laid a strong foundation for the future. We are now 17 team members and looking forward to welcome one more in February.
While we celebrate these successes, we remain fully focused on what lies ahead for us : an ambitious and innovative year that promises to further deliver the most accurate mathematical models of living organisms worldwide.

In 2025, thanks to the support of Business France, iMEAN is set to broaden its global impact, particularly in key regions such as Japan, Brazil and the USA.
These markets offer tremendous opportunities for our growth. iMEAN is committed to forging strategic partnerships that will leverage digital modelling and in silico prediction tools to address global challenges in sustainability, agriculture, and bioenergy for industries worldwide.
Sustainability and Collaboration
We will intensify our focus on environmental sustainability, with new collaborations in carbon capture in soil and microbial community design. By advancing these areas, iMEAN is positioning itself at the forefront of creating eco-friendly solutions that will have a tangible impact on the planet’s future and challenges.
Digital Biofoundry and Automation
A key area of innovation in 2025 will be the expansion of our digital biofoundry and automation tools (Digital twins). This platform will revolutionize the way we design, test, and optimize biological systems, allowing our partners to achieve faster and more efficient breakthroughs.
