iMEAN at Hi Japan 2025: Accelerating Food Innovation with Digital Modelling
From October 15–17, iMEAN will be exhibiting at Health ingredients Japan 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s premier event for health ingredients and food innovation. With over 38,000 attendees and 650+ exhibitors, the show is a key platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies in functional foods, nutraceuticals, and sustainable ingredients.
At Booth 4-173, iMEAN will present its Foodtech modelling platform, designed to accelerate R&D across the food innovation pipeline. Our services support:
- Food biotransformation and ingredient bioproduction
- Consortia and starter culture design
- Bioprocess optimisation and scale-up

Using advanced in silico modelling, we help companies explore vast combinations of food matrices, microbial strains, and enzymes to develop fermented foods, prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, and functional ingredients. Our platform enables predictive strain phenotype and process design, performance forecasting, and digital twin integration to reduce lab time and improve scalability.
We’re also proud to highlight our partnership with Auralip, a pioneering startup developing fermented hemp-based ingredients using deep-tech and low-impact processes.
Meet Damien Michelon and Rémi Peyraud at our booth to discover how digital modelling can unlock new possibilities in food innovation!
