iMEAN and Micropep collaboration to advance Sustainable Agriculture
We’re thrilled to announce a new collaboration between iMEAN and Micropep Technologies, combining our complementary expertise to accelerate innovation in sustainable crop protection.
As part of this proof-of-concept project, iMEAN will apply its advanced plant modeling platform, based on an historic know-how and years of expertise and innovation in this field to identify high-value protein targets involved in plant metabolism, regulatory pathways, and broader plant systems. These insights will help guide the development of next-generation, peptide-based solutions for agriculture.

Micropep will leverage these targets to design AI-powered Peptide-Protein Interactions (PPIs)—creating precise, effective peptides that can control weeds, fight plant diseases, and even enhance crop yields. By integrating computational plant biology with AI-driven peptide design, this partnership aims to deliver environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional agrochemicals.
At iMEAN, we’re proud to support Micropep in this exciting journey. Over the past few years, Micropep has emerged as a pioneer in micropeptide-based crop protection, combining cutting-edge AI, the power of bioengineering and bioproduction to manufacutre micropeptide at scale. Their proprietary Krisalix™ platform has enabled the rapid discovery and development of highly targeted, sustainable solutions for agriculture. Micropep is well-positioned to bring a new generation of biologicals to farmers worldwide
This collaboration marks an exciting step toward building data-driven, sustainable solutions for modern agriculture—where innovation meets ecological responsibility
