Our young startup is a services company that develops a technology of living organisms modelling. Our ambition is the inception of our digital organisms technology within the R&D programs of every biotechnology companies. We are currently deploying our technology for the biotech and crop breeding markets.
iMEAN provides innovative services based on digital organisms which accelerate and derisk R&D processes for biotechnology companies. We encounter a growing demand and target 100% sales annual growth. Therefore, we need you to reinforce our team. Our technology can be deployed to any type of biotech and thus may fit to a broad range of markets. In this new phase of development, your mission will be to accelerate sales growth of the company and open new markets.

Position and mission
The open position is a position of business developer in B2B for life science. You will oversee the prospection, marketing, and commercial activities under the supervision of the CEO.
Your mission, if you accept it, concerns:
- Prospection: analyse market behaviour, perform and supervise market studies. Identify, contact and qualify prospects.
- Set-up services offerings: build and adapt services to the prospects needs. Mount projects in close relationship with the technical team. Pricing, contract adaptation, negotiation.
- Sales: Pitch for prospects and in conferences. Identify new prospects and lead them all along the maturation phase until sealing the deal.
- Strategy: build marketing and commercial strategies. Design sales pitch and commercial tools. Perform regular technology review, concurrent survey, and identify new valuable partnerships.
- Data processing: collect prospect data in our CRM and analyse the data.
Objectives: 100% annual growth in sales + high customer satisfaction.
Your Budget: at least 30k€/year to deploy your marketing & commercial strategies.
Prospection area: focus on Europe; World
Traveling time for prospection: 25 to 50% of your time

Who you are
Qualification: Engineer school or a PhD and/or Business school.
Experience: at least 3 years experience as a business developer in the biotech sector would be great. Bright rookies are welcome.
As a bizdev of a young company, we expect a high autonomy and capacity to manage an efficient business unit. We think that your capacity to digest scientific matters, especially in biology, bioinformatics, systems biology, would ensure your success in the mission. Indeed, our service offerings are tailor-made for each customer. Thus, we are looking for someone agile and smart, able to identify weaknesses in biotech R&D and mount pertinent services. We seek someone with high communication skills, diplomatic and who cares about people. Indeed, we are a services company; thus, we care about our clients and target maximal customer satisfaction.
You want to see the world, as you may often travel for conferences and visit prospects.
Experience in inbound marketing and management of social network are welcome.
Language: English mandatory; French recommended; German would be a plus.
Type: permanent (CDI)
Salary: from 35k€ to 60k€/year (gross salary) depending on experience + 3% of the deals sealed + BSPCE (stock options) depending on your added value.
